Position Summary:
Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV) is hiring an Associate for our industrial team. Founded as Touchdown Ventures in 2014, CPV pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service (VCaaS) for corporations, working with industry leaders like Avery Dennison, International Paper, INX, and more. With a team of 50+ investment professionals in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, CPV manages more than 15 corporate venture capital funds.
As an Associate, you will work on a dedicated fund team focused on sustainability & recycling, digital printing solutions, and Industry 4.0, as part of our larger industrial sector practice. Associates source venture capital investment opportunities and help impact the innovation strategies at some of the world’s most successful corporations. The Associate role is an exciting and entrepreneurial opportunity to join a growing firm, providing potential for growth and advancement. We are seeking candidates who share our vision and excitement for a generational venture capital and diversified financial services partnership.
This position will be based with our team in Los Angeles with hybrid flexibility for experienced candidates to report to one of our primary CPV office locations.
Primary Responsibilities
Identify potential start-up investments and source relationships with founders
Meet with entrepreneurs and evaluate their business plans and pitches
Track and report on deal flow generated by our team
Research industry sectors, trends, and market dynamics
Assist with due diligence
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should be extremely positive and flexible. You must be detail-oriented and self-starter who enjoys working in a collegial workplace. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with ideally 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Competencies:
Identify potential start-up investments and source relationships with founders
Meet with entrepreneurs and evaluate their business plans and pitches
Track and report on deal flow generated by our team
Research industry sectors, trends, and market dynamics

Compensation Range:
$100,000-115,000
