Your Role: 

As a Associate Technical Project Manager, you'll be working with some of the industry's brightest minds, using Microsoft and Jira to build tools and manage the processes needed to bring a vehicle to market. Basically, you'll ensure that people understand what they're supposed to do and when they're supposed to do it.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate program activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.
  • Frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and partners in China. This is essential for successful collaboration and ensuring the effectiveness of project delivery.
  • Track progress of projects, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain and update program documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and risks assessments.
  • Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead effective daily stand-up meetings.
  • Prepare dashboards and other status monitoring tools for management to help drive data-based, strategic decisions
  • Proactively find new and better ways to leverage our tools to continually improve our process.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure changes are understood and approved

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a similar discipline
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required
  • Understanding project management principles and tools.
  • Background in software development or automotive industry
  • Experience interacting and communicating with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience meeting critical delivery commitments while maintaining overall project scope and objectives
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing complex project plans
  • Familiar with Jira workflows, permissions schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, etc.
  • Ability to communicate with executives and demonstrate your strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with mission-critical systems, with a sense of urgency
  • Not above taking meeting notes
  • Must be extremely organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager
  • PMP Certification is a Plus

Annual Salary Range:

($70K - $80K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
