Associate Talent Acquisition Sourcer (Front Office)
Job Description
Ares is looking for an Investments Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join the talent acquisition team. The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will be responsible for sourcing active and passive talent, acting as a sourcing subject matter expert, communicating important market updates and building out strong diverse talent pipelines. The ideal candidate will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and provide exceptional client service to the investments recruiting team, promptly addressing all related requests and queries, streamlining and improving our recruitment processes to ensure best practices in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.
The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will get the chance to interact with business leaders from multiple strategies and act as a strategic partner with management. This role will support investments pipelining for crucial roles including but not limited to deal team, investor relations, asset management and sales professionals. The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will support business groups such as Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, Insurance, Infrastructure, Wealth Management Solutions and Secondaries. This role is an exciting part of the investments recruiting team with high visibility into strategy and new initiatives.

Reports to: Vice President, Recruiting Lead, Investments

Primary functions & responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage talent sourcing activities for the Investments business, including research, market intelligence and mapping, direct outreaches, networking and screening
Build a candidate pipeline via proactive and direct sourcing platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday ATS for active and future needs
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and the business to understand talent needs and deliver strategies and solutions for sourcing
Identify and implement diversity sourcing objectives in partnership with our diversity equity & inclusion team
Participate and attend industry conferences and events
Act as a brand ambassador for Ares which includes the ability to articulate in a compelling and accurate fashion why Ares is a great place to work. This will include keeping up to date with Ares press releases, awards, new initiatives, events, philanthropy, announced deals etc.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3-6 years of recruiting experience required within the financial services industry, within corporate, retained and/or contingent recruitment search
Knowledge of Boolean searches and creative talent sourcing methods
Sourcing experience in Private Equity, Credit, Real Estate, Secondaries and/or Infrastructure is strongly preferred
General Requirements:
Professional demeanor with a focus on client and candidate service while maintaining confidentiality
Ability to extract meaningful information from extensive research and analysis to effectively present facts and findings in a digestible format
Proven experience and passion for sourcing a strong diverse pipeline for front office roles
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and competing demands
Interest in building strong internal and external relationships to foster a solid reputation and network

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$100,000-$125,000
