This hybrid position requires three days per week in our San Francisco, CA office.
About your skills- Market Research & Product Positioning : Support the development of market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and positioning opportunities within the product category. Assist in crafting compelling product messaging and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and align with company strategy.
- Content Creation & Communication: Develop clear, persuasive marketing materials including sales enablement content, product pages, blog posts, and case studies. Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all product marketing deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to understand product features and translate them into customer benefits. Support product launches by coordinating timelines and deliverables across departments and ensuring alignment on go-to-market strategies.
- Project Management & Execution: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and product launches, maintaining project timelines and coordinating promotional activities. Help track campaign performance metrics and gather customer feedback to inform future marketing initiatives and product improvements.
As an Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM), you will help drive go-to-market strategy, messaging, and product positioning for key products and features across Udemy’s consumer, instructor, and business (Udemy Business) platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—from Product Management, Lifecycle, and Sales to Data Science and Engineering—to bring new innovations to market and enhance adoption.
What you’ll be doing- Support go-to-market strategy for new product launches and feature enhancements
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product positioning
- Collaborate on development of customer-facing assets, sales enablement tools, and landing pages
- Help define messaging frameworks that resonate with target personas across global markets
- Work closely with Product Managers to influence roadmap through market insights and user feedback
- Analyze product adoption data and campaign performance to optimize marketing strategies
- Assist in coordinating both internal and external product trainings and sales enablement initiatives
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related customer-facing role (SaaS or edtech experience a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret product and campaign performance metrics
