While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.
The Enterprise Applications & Architecture (EAA) Team at Coinbase acts as a catalyst by leveraging best-in-class, third-party enterprise applications, purpose-built software, automation, and integrated workflows. This approach frees associates to concentrate on high-judgment tasks.
The Business Unit Delivery team, a critical component of the EAA organization, is responsible for developing and supporting applications that Coinbase's business unit partners utilize daily. Specifically, the EAA Onboarding team within Business Unit Delivery focuses on building, configuring, and managing applications to deliver a superior onboarding experience for institutional customers.
As a Product Manager (PM) in this role, you will lead strategic cross-functional initiatives. Your primary objective will be to develop scalable, data-driven, customer-focused, and security-first tooling solutions designed to support Coinbase's institutional customers. Additionally, this PM will drive initiatives to implement and optimize third-party tools and collaborate with various teams, including Legal and Compliance, to create the best possible onboarding experience for institutional clients.
What you'll be doing (ie. job duties): To be completed by all business teams except Eng.

• Partner with our internal teams to understand their bespoke tooling needs.
• Lead and manage technical programs to improve the customer experience for Coinbase institutional users and scale our operations.
• Estimate work efforts, design project plans, define milestones and manage resources, while driving adherence and compliance.
• Write technical PRDs, manage technical backlogs, and effectively prioritize work items (including new features, bugs, tech debt, etc.).
• Develop frameworks for stakeholders and peer PMs to streamline and scale our operations and eliminate ambiguity.
• Coordinate with multiple development teams to drive cross-functional, enterprise wide initiatives.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with leadership and external business units (ie. Compliance, Legal, Security, IT, Engineering, Product, Data, etc.) to ensure projects are delivered on time and stakeholders and held accountable for deliverables.
• Turn support data into actionable customer experience improvement opportunities.
• Become an SME and essential thought leader in developing a best-in-class customer experience.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): To be completed by all business teams except Eng.

• BA/BS degree in Information Management Systems or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience, preferably in business applications development management, product management for internal products.
• Experience in large tooling delivery.
• Knowledge and experience working with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM), Knowledge Management System (KMS), Machine Learning (ML), chatbots, and internal home-grown tooling (Amazon Connect, Salesforce preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter.
• Experience tackling complex, ambiguous technical challenges.
• Background working within an Agile environment and using Jira.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Compliance programs related to expanding to new geographies

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility+ benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$122,145 - $143,700 USD
