Position Overview

Allied Global Marketing is seeking a proactive and highly organized Associate Product Manager to join our Strategy & Innovation team. This role supports the development and delivery of internal technology products that drive operational excellence across the agency, including AI-powered tools and analytics platforms.

As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle, supporting everything from early discovery and vendor coordination to QA and rollout communications. You’ll be a key part of a high-impact team, with the opportunity to shape product operations while receiving mentorship to grow into a more senior product role.

Who You Are

You’re an organized, solutions-oriented operator who thrives on moving projects forward. You enjoy collaborating across teams, translating ideas into clear actions, and bringing structure to evolving workflows. You’re eager to learn more about product management, comfortable juggling multiple workstreams, and driven by impact. You don’t need to be technical, but you do need to be curious, resourceful, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project timelines, tasks, and milestones across internal product initiatives
  • Facilitate status updates and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
  • Document product requirements and organize user feedback for development teams.
  • Coordinate vendor deliverables, legal reviews, and procurement processes.
  • Support onboarding and rollout with guides, briefs, and release communications.
  • Guide implementation via design of product-use and integration training as well as regular qualitative sessions with users.
  • Triage user support issues, enhancement requests, and bugs across internal tools.
  • Contribute to internal QA and user testing coordination for new features.
  • Draft product briefs, onboarding docs, and maintain clear, branded materials.
  • Assist in creating decks and one-pagers for product updates and sales enablement.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across product-related assets and documentation.
  • Prepare agendas, notes, and documentation for cross-functional product meetings.
  • Support planning and reporting for the Strategy & Innovation team.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or product support—agency, startup, or tech-adjacent experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional skills with AI, extensive experience with using LLMs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills with a clear, concise, and professional style.
  • Familiarity with project management and productivity tools
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a product-focused role.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently within a remote-first team, aligned to U.S. East Coast hours.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
