We are looking for an Associate to join the Product Finance, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. You will partner closely with the Product Management, Design, and cross-functional Product & Tech leads across emerging areas to lead financial and volume forecasting, headcount planning, and financial business case analyses to inform strategic business decisions. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility, interaction with business partners, and considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a Finance organization.

This role can be based in our Los Angeles, CA (preferred) or Los Gatos, CA, office and report to the Senior Manager of Product FP&A, who is based in Los Angeles. Occasional travel between Los Gatos and Los Angeles will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead annual budget planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for the Product Management, Design, and cross-functional Product & Tech leads— including headcount planning and complex operational expenses 

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities to inform forecasts and strategic decision-making

  • Build regular management reporting, financial reporting, and business presentations for Product and Finance leadership 

  • Develop and evaluate financial business cases for product investments and strategic initiatives, partnering with Product leadership to assess trade-offs and prioritize resource allocation across the portfolio

  • Collaborate with the Product Management and Design teams on key strategic, operational, and  financial analyses in order to drive monetization, member experience, and cost efficiency opportunities

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment with extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel/Google Sheets is expected

  • Proficiency in working with databases, data, and reports; Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and/or Anaplan is a plus. Comfort using GenAI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to automate current workflows and reporting

  • Self-starter, disciplined to work effectively autonomously, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • A successful candidate will have a strong track record of financial analysis, financial forecasting, and identifying key questions, defining, performing, and coordinating analyses

  • Strong and effective communication and presentation skills; ability to adapt the communication based on the audience

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to frame key questions and the analyses needed to solve complex problems.

  • Have the ability to learn quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics


Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $155,000.00 - $225,000.00.
