Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Associate Product Compliance Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples (NA) or Tito Scalo (PZ).

Accountabilities
We are looking for an Asspcoate Product Compliance Specialist who will:
Prepare the dossiers related to fire smoke regulations EN45545;
Be in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in electrical/electronic equipment and lifecycle assessment according to Regulation REACH (1907/2006/EU) and ROHS (2011/65/EU as amended);
Prepare dossiers relating to the regulation for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items (EU and US Regulations);
Develop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions;
Required Skills/Knowledge
Basic knowledge about EN454545 - Standard for fire protection for Rolling Stock;
Basic knnowledge about LCA Methodologies;
Basic knowledge with management and understanding of info related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components;
Able to work autonomously and be proactive in the management of the tasks
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
Willing to work in an international team and environment;
Excellent communication skills;
Education
University Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background;
Languages
Fluent knowledge of English
