The Platform Operations Engineering team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Fullsteam’s infrastructure and applications. We work closely with development, operations and Business Unit teams to build and maintain robust systems that support our business units across various domains.

We are seeking an Associate Platform Operations Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS, infrastructure automation, and cloud platform management. This role involves supporting deployments, troubleshooting, and optimizing network operational procedures in Cloudflare.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support infrastructure and application engineering teams with deployments, troubleshooting, service requests, and change controls.

  • Analyze, develop, and improve operational procedures across Fullsteam’s Business Units.

  • Monitor logs daily, report findings, and implement remediation strategies.

  • Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

  • Review merge requests and actively participate in change review processes.

  • Automate Cloudflare configurations using Terraform, API, or IaC pipelines.

  • Ensure systems are highly performant, highly available and maintain > four 9s of Availability

Skills & Competencies
  • Well versed in AWS and Terraform

  • Strong understanding of web traffic flows and HTTP/S protocols.

  • Proficiency in DevOps tooling including Jenkins, SVN, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket.

  • Experience building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform.

  • Database management experience with at least two of the following: MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Metabase.

  • Application performance monitoring and incident response.

  • Programming/scripting skills in BASH, Shell, PowerShell, or Python.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Motivated by challenging and innovative problems.

Minimum Qualifications
  • AWS certified solutions architect associate

  • At least 3 years of experience managing database technologies.

  • At least 5 years of experience working with modern DevOps tooling.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Cyber Security, or related field (or 4+ years of equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS SSA-P certification.

  • Experience with Cloudflare APIs or Terraform provider.

  • Knowledge of defense-in-depth, least-privileged, and secure-by-design principles.

  • Experience with Blue-Green deployments.

  • Understanding and experience maintaining a PCI DSS environment.

  • Experience building monitoring, logging, security, and scalability solutions on Azure or AWS.

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role at a similarly sized company.

  • Active GitHub account with several years of consistent contributions.

Salary range:

$72,240 to $100,000 total earnings, including base and bonus.
