Job Responsibilities 

•    Create CADs Sketches & Construction 
•    Collaborate with Senior Designers on creating trend presentation and market research
•    Organize development/ sourcing sheets
•    Create concept approvals for licensors
•    Generate style #s 
•    Intermediate capabilities in Photoshop and Illustrator; sketches, construction, color updates, print recolors, trend presentations (layouts)
•    Assist in fittings and record fit notes and provide feedback, lead when Senior Designer is not available
•    Must collaborate with merch and licensing on future and current developments
•    Set up initial tech packs for costing
•    Set up and update production BOM for fabric, trim details and colors. Add standard product packaging items for production.
•    Take full ownership of styles (not full line), from conception to completion
•    Lead prelim/prod handoff styles responsible
•    Reviewing PP samples and advise comments to tech/ production
•    Review production approvals and provide comments to review with your senior designer/ management
•    Set up sourcing sheets for fabric/ trims for PD to source
•    Maintain PLM with approval dates in tracker
•    Organize/ prepare samples racks 
•    Photo/tagging the line for shipments to the buyers
•    General assistance in everyday work, organizing design files and documents
•    Sending buyer/ licensor shipment packages for approvals
•    Assist with submitting cut tickets for in house samples
•    Prepare market sample with sales callouts
•    Create fabric and trim boards based on presentation needs
•    Submit creative request for production needs
•    Provide clear direction to patternmaker/ sewers for garment construction
•    Work with Senior Designer to collaborate with PD and Production on future season development

Location Notice:
This is a full-time, onsite position based at our current headquarters in Bell, CA. In Q1 of 2026, we will relocate to our new corporate office in Beverly Hills, CA (90210). Candidates must be comfortable working onsite at both locations.

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).
