This role is accountable for the localization, implementation and evaluation of brand, business and consumer programming to maximize growth, profitability and brand equity, consistent with national brand strategy.
Success in the role is superb execution of local brand campaigns across footprint clusters.

What You Can Expect:

  • Support the Marketing Manager in identifying, implementing, and executing relevant local media partnerships, events, sponsorships, etc., to support the overall brand, business, and consumer plan for the cluster.

  • Lead local activation of highly innovative, cut-through brand building programs.

  • Work with brand teams to create local programs and materials consistent with brand strategy and equity guidelines.

  • Evaluate programs and initiatives, making recommendations for discontinuation or improvement.

  • Partner with the commercial team to educate, plan, and evaluate agency execution of assigned brand initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for consumer marketing agency ambassador team members working in the field, ensuring optimal resourcing.

  • Manage local consumer marketing funds and provide input into local resource allocation decisions.

  • Serve as a critical resource for local consumer and competitive insights.

  • Champion brand building by providing category/portfolio/brand expertise and conducting tastings and brand education training.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience & Skills: At least 3 years of marketing experience in a consumer goods, music, media, sports or other experiential environment, with demonstrated experience in developing, executing, and managing brand programs. Strong analytic skills with the ability to turn “insights to actions.” Impeccable vendor and budget management, and the ability to operate independently to negotiate contracts and execute programming. Experience working with and managing outside agencies, including POS development and advertising.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels, functions, and cultures. Demonstrated ability to work on projects with cross-functional teams to meet consensus goals and manage through influence with internal and external partners.

  • Innovation & Strategy: Proven ability to develop and execute innovative “big ideas” that grow brands. A smart negotiator who thinks independently and strategically.

  • Organization & Results: Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority projects simultaneously. Strong results orientation, with a track record of superior financial performance.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, including some weekends. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, meet deadlines, and coordinate multiple projects. Demonstrated enthusiasm for the organization through commitments and actions.
