UTA seeks an Associate to support the Entertainment & Culture Marketing (ECM) department’s work with the agency’s corporate clients (e.g. Coca Cola, Delta Air Lines, Google) and work closely in partnership with the agency’s insights and analytics division, UTA IQ. The Associate will be responsible for leveraging proprietary and third-party data tools to provide insights and metrics to assist the lead marketing analyst in developing data-driven solutions for clients. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data and insights, show an enthusiasm for entertainment and brand marketing, and have an ability to craft a narrative around those insights that are compelling for our brand clients. We are a team of passionate marketers and experts with varying backgrounds, who leverage entertainment to create and execute a range of marketing initiatives for clients including: talent procurement, film/tv integrations, studio/network co-marketing and promotional partnerships, content strategy, business acceleration and more.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with developing marketing strategies by contributing insights drawn from data collection, provision, and analysis

  • Demonstrate creative approaches to data, performance measurement, and insight-driven storytelling

  • Present findings to brand clients in coherent and compelling fashion

  • Contribute to the maintenance and running of data models that assess the intrinsic value of film, television and digital content properties, and entertainment talent

  • Extract, aggregate, synthesize, analyze, visualize, socialize data derived from research intelligence tools into the UTA Marketing team’s daily work

  • Stay current with emerging media, trends, and technologies, and share them out with the broader marketing team

  • Collect and analyze market data to identify new client opportunities and expansion of existing accounts

  • Assist in optimizing team workflows through automation and archival documentation of processes

  • Leverage tools to collect data for evaluating talent and content against each other via proprietary vetting scorecards

What You Will Need

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical insights role, preferably at an entertainment company or ad agency

  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred

  • Experience extracting, synthesizing, visualizing, and socializing insights from a variety of analytics platforms

  • The ability to process and evaluate data creatively and to see and communicate the associated big picture in an innovative way, identifying opportunities based on observed trends

  • Ability to navigate a complex organization and operate in an incredibly fast paced, multifaceted environment

  • Ability to assist with marketing presentations and to present insights and key data findings to stakeholders and clients

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel a must

  • Solid grasp of industry-leading digital analytics platforms and ability to learn/navigate with ease
