Job Description

The Opportunity: 

The Associate Manager, UNO Global Brand Marketing will be working on the Games Global Brand Team supporting development of the global brand strategy and marketing plans for regional teams to execute in market. Working alongside the Manager, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders, the Associate Manager will ensure that the brand has exceptional marketing support, creating strategic global campaigns that drive cultural relevance, deepen brand affinity with our fans and consumers, and support the company’s financial goals.

Keys to success will be strong organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude, a passion for pop culture, and strong creative sensibility. An adaptive capacity with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills are crucial as this role operates in a flexible and collaborative environment. This individual must be a strong executor, a self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, able to support and motivate cross-functional teams, and resourceful in handling roadblocks.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Support brand growth, cultural relevance, and financial goals for UNO, the world’s #1 card game
  • Craft compelling narratives across brand, content, and consumer touchpoints, bringing ideas to life across diverse channels and formats
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners (brand creative, social, PR, influencer, product marketing, commercial, and more) throughout the global marketing plan development and launch process
  • Collaborate with regional teams to address global needs and market feedback while securing their executional commitment to activate strategic priorities in key markets
  • Support franchise growth initiatives across content, gaming, consumer products, and live events
  • Introduce and present new campaigns, strategies, and/or research findings
  • Translate consumer insights and business objectives into strategic, well-defined marketing briefs
  • Own marketing asset development including briefing, progress tracking, offering creative feedback, and managing approvals
  • In partnership with the Manager, manage the overarching marketing calendar to drive alignment across global markets
  • Lead campaign and overall brand health reporting/analysis
  • Act as point of contact for brand inquiries and dissemination of brand information and marketing assets

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 5+ years (2 years with MBA) experience in marketing – preferably brand marketing (on client or agency side), franchise management, content marketing, or product marketing
  • Thorough understanding of marketing mix and KPIs
  • Ability to analyze data/financials and consumer insights/trends, identify key takeaways, and create informed recommendations
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and confidence presenting in front of large and small groups
  • Highly organized, independent, and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Strong time management, planning, and execution skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful collaborative relationships
  • Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills as well as proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must be comfortable working in a demanding, challenging, and dynamic environment with a knack for embracing ambiguity and change, while focusing on solutions and best paths forward

The annual base salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $125,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience. Mattel offers competitive total pay programs, comprehensive benefits, and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential.
