Job Description:

The Associate Manager, Partnerships Marketing role supports leading partner relationships and developing strategies that drive subscriber acquisition, awareness, engagement, and retention with partners for The Walt Disney Company’s direct to consumer business - Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, and Disney bundles. Existing partners include LG, Samsung, Vizio, Playstation, and xBox. This role also supports identifying new partner opportunities and seeking innovative ways to advance growth, awareness, and engagement objectives by maximizing our partners’ unique value propositions for the TWDC DTC business.

Responsibilities:

Partner Relationship Management & Growth Strategy

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for partners, building collaborative relationships that drive mutual business objectives and align with broader team and company goals.

  • Support partner communications for Disney+, Hulu, ESPN DTC, and Disney Bundles, ensuring alignment on programming priorities, campaign strategies, and promotional opportunities.

  • Identify and develop scalable co-marketing initiatives designed to support subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders including Brand Marketing, Title Marketing, Creative, Legal, Programming, Product Marketing, International Regional Marketing teams, etc. to coordinate campaign assets and approvals and ensure alignment on timelines.

  • Work collaboratively and support colleagues by contributing ideas and sharing best practices/key learnings, including with stakeholders internationally.

  • Support operational efficiencies by identifying process improvement opportunities and partnering with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

Operations

  • Support end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns tied to key content tentpoles and brand campaigns.

  • Ensure all deliverables are executed efficiently and delivered to partners on schedule.

  • Demonstrate strong project management and operational leadership by overseeing reporting processes and asset request/approval workflows.

Executive Communications

  • Support leadership through the development of executive-ready campaign recaps, strategic updates, partner presentations, and performance reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or partnerships within a subscription-based or direct-to-consumer business — preferably in media, streaming, or consumer technology.

    • Agency experience supporting similar clients is also valued

    • Experience supporting international markets or collaborating with global stakeholders is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of the Streaming and CTV landscape

  • Proven experience:

    • Developing strategies and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns end-to-end.

    • Working autonomously, multi-tasking, and leading several projects within a matrixed organization with numerous stakeholders.

    • Collaborating effectively with internal and external partners at all levels, including cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

    • Critically thinking and problem solving with minimal direction.

    • Fostering relationships rapidly to amplify business opportunities and achieve business objectives.

  • Adaptable, flexible, and proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using campaign data to inform strategies.

  • Ability to contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture, supporting colleagues and working toward collective success.

  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, AirTable.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $87,100 to $116,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
