In this role, you will review invoices for accuracy and processing them timely on applicable systems. Ensure repossession proceeds are accurate, timely and processed on applicable systems. Complete monthly attorney reviews. Resources to do the job require reliance on technical knowledge of department policy, state and federal collection laws, as well as collection guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Process legal invoices promptly and ensure that accurate records. Maintain and reconcile legal invoices resolving discrepancies.
  • Process repossession sale proceeds and prepare required notices for members and ensure timely delivery.
  • Work with repossession agencies to ensure the credit union is receiving repossession remittances.
  • Monitor attorney status reports from and validate attorneys are meeting service level agreements and reviews aged attorney accounts and make recommendations for recovery action.
  • Research, evaluate, design, and test the need and development of process and product changes.
  • Support with designing and implementing new reports, queues, views, or other systemic enhancements and manage communication with system administrators to ensure successful project resolution.
  • Participate in new and innovative projects to improve efficient servicing operations and success of strategy and collaborate with internal partners to accomplish department and organizational goals.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Minimum
  Years of Experience:
  • 2 years - Collections, loan servicing or related - Minimum
  • 3 years - Collections, loan servicing or related - Preferred
 


Compensation & Benefits:

Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎$18.08 - $24.86 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge. 

Additional Compensation: Annual performance bonus
