UTA seeks a strategic, data-driven Associate, IQ Operations to lead high-impact initiatives that enhance team effectiveness, streamline processes, and enable informed decision-making. In this role, you'll work closely with leadership to define goals, drive cross-functional collaboration, manage OKRs, and mentor junior team members—all while identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical skills, experience with BI tools, and a passion for operational excellence.
The salary range for this role $80,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate closely with departmental leadership to define and prioritize business strategies, goals, and objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and draft policies, SOPs, and implementation plans to enhance productivity and effectiveness
- Lead major operations initiatives to drive efficiency and outcomes and proactively identify potential issues that could impact success
- Create and leverage analytics and diagnostic tools to enable data-driven decision making and furnish insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of relevant data
- Own OKR management to ensure the team is working in sync; help develop and maintain operational rhythms and cadence and facilitate a regular business review process.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for operations, facilitating communication across departments and ensuring that directives are implemented effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent leadership in meetings and communications as needed
- Support team development and growth and mentor and guide junior staff to enhance their skills and career progression
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant quantitative, analytical disciplines
- 3+ years of experience in a consulting, operations, or strategy role with proven ability to make informed decisions
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build strong partnerships
- Experience leveraging project management skills and agile methodologies
- Experience and knowledge of BI and analytics tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Retool, etc
- Proficiency in Python, SQL a plus
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to identifying and removing obstacles to improve processes
