Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is excited to announce an opportunity for an Associate or Experienced Operations Center Fleet Monitoring Systems Analytics Engineer to join our Fleet Health Monitoring team in Seal Beach, California.
The Fleet Health Monitoring team is responsible for overseeing multiple airplane fleets and providing targeted maintenance recommendations for critical faults. This enables real-time situational awareness for in-flight Boeing airplanes. We are currently seeking candidates at various experience levels, including both Associate and Experienced Engineers.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a strong sense of curiosity. They should utilize their creativity and data analytics skills to develop infrastructure tools and analytical capabilities, enhancing user adoption within the Fleet Monitoring team and the Boeing Operations Center. This role focuses on providing the necessary tools and analytical insights empowering team members to effectively address and predict real-time issues for airline customers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with members of the Operations Center to identify, understand, and provide pre-emptive recommendations for emerging aircraft technical issues
  • Willingness to learn all facets of fleet monitoring and provide backup support as needed
  • Understand the BOC team job functions and their operational workflow and responsibilities
  • Capability to transform and Administrating data sources within the business domain of Boeing Operations Center.
  • Developing and managing data analysis tools and methodologies to ensure successful product deployment, sustainment, and implementation of business workflows
  • Informing and educating team members across Boeing Operations Centers about the implementation and/or updates to our tools, documentation and workflow procedures

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2 or more years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience in basic software development using a modern programming language

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • 5 or more years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary Pay Range (Level 2): $98,600 - $133,400
Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $119,850 - $162,150
