UTA seeks an Associate, Events professional in Los Angeles to be part of the company’s Global Corporate Communications department. The salary range for this role is $70,500 to $75,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
Manage logistics for a high volume of on-campus events across all departments and UTA tentpole events globally, including but not limited to booking catering, rentals, staff, valet, check-in, security, photographer, florals, and handling permits & COIs.
Help oversee the UTA Theater and execute all screenings and other events hosted on UTA’s Beverly Hills campus and field in-house events requests and serves as a liaison to staff members needing assistance and direction with planning events on-site.
Work closely with internal partners (i.e. building management, facilities, housekeeping and others) to ensure seamless execution of vendor and visitor management.

Draft and manage event communications including event copy, pre-event run of shows & post event recaps, and more.
Assist with guest list curation, notable talent outreach, face sheets, shot lists and guest relations.
Collaborate with the branding team to design creative and copy for all events & screenings and facilitate approval process with the external communications team.
Liaise with UTA’s in-house legal team on venue and vendor contracts to ensure proper venue management and logistics.
Oversee smaller tentpole events alongside Head of Events and lead managing associated logistics for these events, including but not limited to managing venue, curating menu, booking staff, photographer and other event elements, among other things.
Serve as point of contact at select events on-site, off-site, and virtually.
Must exhibit strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and exude a positive attitude when interfacing with guests which will include agency partners, high-profile clients, managers, publicists, and other executives.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Ability to working various longer hours over a consistent period to cover screenings, receptions, and on-site events.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university strongly preferred.
3+ years’ experience in event production (particularly in a creative/entertainment industry)
Strong Project Management skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote)
General business knowledge, extensive knowledge on social media platforms, and interest in media and entertainment business
Ability to be self-sufficient and make appropriate judgment calls on catering, décor, and general event needs.
