Job Description:
As the Associate Director, Media & Business Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping how our teams work, collaborate, and deliver excellence for the client. You will be at the center of connecting tools, systems, workflows, and operational processes to help teams work smarter, faster, and more efficiently.
You will bring together cross-functional partners—planning, analytics, media, project management, finance, and global operations—to streamline processes, strengthen system adoption, and identify opportunities for automation and optimization. If you thrive at solving operational challenges, linking systems, and improving how work gets done, you will excel here.
What You Will DoIn this role, you will:
- Serve as the operational hub for media and business operations across the U.S. team.
- Partner closely with media planning, analytics, project management, and leadership to understand needs, workflows, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate the tools and systems used today and determine which should be optimized, connected, replaced, or newly introduced.
- Identify synergies across operational processes and help the team move from siloed solutions to connected, scalable approaches.
- Lead the onboarding, training, and rollout of new tools and systems to ensure teams can use them effectively.
- Work with global partners to ensure consistency across regions and support global integrations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support data flows, system integrations, and dashboard setup.
- Help teams prioritize what delivers value to the client and identify ways to save time and remove friction in daily workflows.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cross‑regional coordination on media data and operational tasks.
- Act as a knowledgeable partner who can translate between media teams and technical stakeholders—helping “connect the pipes.”
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- A strong background in media operations or media planning.
- Experience with MediaOcean / Prisma, Media Tools / Guideline, and Smartsheet.
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, v‑lookups) and confidence using PowerPoint and other core collaboration tools.
- Comfort engaging with technical partners and discussing system architecture at a functional level.
- A proactive approach to improving processes, connecting workflows, and solving operational challenges.
- Strong communication skills—you can explain complex ideas clearly and work with a wide range of partners.
- The ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and stay organized in a fast‑moving environment.
- Curiosity about automation, AI‑enabled workflows, and ways to enhance efficiency.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to work across teams, time zones, and disciplines.
In this role, you will be successful when:
- You understand how the team operates today and can identify what needs to change—and what doesn’t.
- You help introduce or optimize tools that save time, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
- You bring clarity and structure to processes that were previously fragmented or inconsistent.
- You enable teams to access the right systems and data with confidence.
- You help create a more connected, scalable, and efficient operational foundation for the client.
You are someone who:
- Enjoys solving complex operational problems.
- Can balance short‑term needs with long‑term system thinking.
- Communicates clearly and respectfully with teammates and clients.
- Has strong attention to detail and a structured approach to organization.
- Thrives in environments where no two days look the same.
- Is energized by improving workflows, streamlining processes, and elevating how work gets done.
- Values inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on one of the largest and most visible accounts in the network. You will shape operational excellence not just for the client, but as part of a broader global transformation in how media operations function.
