A day in the life:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern measurement, incrementality, statistics, data analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. In this role, you will oversee and guide the measurement strategy for high-impact marketing campaigns across multiple client accounts. You’ll bring an elevated strategic mindset, advising both internal and client leadership teams on best practices for statistical modeling (MMM), experiment design for incremental impact, customer analysis, and attribution-based measurement.

    Additionally, you will provide executive-level strategic direction, managing the relationship for your book of business and collaborating across departments to drive client success and high sentiment. As a senior leader, you will also be responsible for setting standards for measurement best practices, mentoring & managing junior team members, and ensuring the continued growth of our measurement capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall measurement strategy for a book of high-priority clients, overseeing the execution of statistical modeling (MMM), incrementality experiment design (MMT), and customer analysis.
  • Drive the implementation of advanced measurement methodologies and models, ensuring that insights are actionable and tied to client business goals.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and success with Power Digital’s services.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts across client-facing teams, creative departments, and analytics teams to implement holistic, data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Leverage large datasets and sophisticated data tools (R, Python, SQL) to uncover and communicate meaningful performance insights and areas for optimization.
  • Drive and communicate forecasts and performance outlooks to senior-level stakeholders, offering strategic advice and "so what" insights for ongoing campaign optimization.
  • Lead the team’s efforts in improving operational efficiency, continually refining the measurement and marketing science processes, and setting new benchmarks for client performance.
  • Champion the use of AI and automation tools to improve deliverable efficiency, productivity, and measurement outcomes across client accounts.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics and Measurement
  • 3+ years of agency experience 
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate quantitative data into actionable business insights and recommendations, especially related to applying outputs of statistical models and market experiments to marketing strategies 
  • Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as Funnel.io and Fivetran
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing strategies
  • Extensive knowledge of owned, earned and paid marketing channels as well as first-party data tools 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively across teams internally and externally
  • Demonstrated managerial experience, including the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team, 2-3 years of team management experience, ideally 2-3 direct reports
  • Highly dependable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a self-starter
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and decision making skills; ability to clearly communicate complex strategies to senior leadership and executive-level stakeholders

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Maintain 90%+ revenue retention for dedicated Measurement accounts
  • Client sentiment for dedicated accounts
  • Efficiency and quality of analysis delivery, both in the hard output and presented narrative
  • Sentiment and performance of Direct Reports based on KPIs in their job descriptions

Most Important Things (MITs)

  • A creative, problem-solver mind with a foundation of hard data skills
  • Advanced understanding of statistical concepts: advanced modeling, experiment design, customer analysis, limitations of statistics, etc.
  • Experience using Data Science to guide marketing decisions
