Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Director | Director of Commercial Strategy & Partnerships to be a key member of our growing Commercial Team. This role is critical to accelerating our growth by providing support for the entire deal lifecycle, with a focus on proposals, contracting, and closing.

You will guide strategic opportunities from late-stage negotiation to the formal launch of the partnership, working in a high-impact role that offers direct exposure to executive leadership at Qualified Health and our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Serve as the commercial lead on strategic accounts, partnering with Account Executives to structure and negotiate complex enterprise partnerships.
    • Develop sophisticated financial models and pricing strategies that align with customer value and our long-term corporate objectives.
    • Translate complex commercial terms and value propositions into clear, compelling presentations and proposals for executive and C-suite audiences.
    • Drive the negotiation process on commercial and legal terms, working directly with senior executives, legal counsel, and procurement leaders at client organizations.
  • Commercial Operations:
    • Own the internal commercial approval process, preparing and presenting clear, concise analyses for executive review.
    • Act as the central point of coordination between Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product, ensuring seamless execution and alignment on our most critical partnerships.
    • Own and refine our commercial playbook, developing scalable contracting frameworks that streamline partner onboarding.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the entire commercial organization, providing expert guidance on deal structuring, negotiation strategy, and market dynamics.
    • Ensure all commercial agreements are designed for successful post-sale implementation and long-term partnership growth.
    • Leverage AI and advanced analytics to create a more intelligent and predictable commercial process, enhancing our team's overall effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in an analytical and strategic environment. Ideal backgrounds include management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a business/commercial operations role at a leading technology firm.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling and structuring complex commercial agreements.
  • An ownership mindset with a demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy to completion.
  • Exceptional business acumen and judgment, with the ability to distill complexity into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • A deep enthusiasm for technology and a belief in the power of AI to transform healthcare.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in the healthcare technology sector.
  • Familiarity with SaaS-based enterprise software contracts and revenue recognition principles.
  • MBA or other graduate degree

Pay & Benefits: The pay range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for equity, benefits and cash incentives.
