Job Title: Associate Director, Creator Partnerships 

A little bit about our team:

The Global Brand & Audience team develops and implements artist strategy and planning, driving culture and commercial streaming alike. The Brand & Audience Services team comprises cross-functional disciplines, including Creative Development, Paid Media, Influencer/Creator Marketing, and Direct-to-Fan and Community Engagement. The team is responsible for marquee artists and their storytelling.

Your role:

Lead and execute the creator strategy for global catalog artists.  You’ll both develop and manage the Creator Partnerships team, sourcing and managing digital creators, directly and through agencies, across campaigns - overseeing briefs, timelines, and content delivery to ensure alignment with artist identity and campaign goals. Set the overarching strategy for a fast-paced mix of proactive and reactive programs, building scalable frameworks that allow the team to pivot quickly and improve results continuously.  

As the team lead, this role requires experience and thought leadership on how programs integrate and uplift cross-functional drivers.  This role also supports artist teams with guidance on short-form content, helping shape creative direction, language, and social media best practices.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Establish and drive the overarching global creator strategy for catalog artists, setting the vision and framework for all creator programs across short-form platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, etc.).

  • Serve as a leader with a point of view. Use tools, data, and insights to anticipate creative trends. Define new, high-impact topics that connect artists and culture.

  • Source and manage creators across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, etc.

  • Coordinate project outlines, schedules, outputs, and sign-offs

  • Lead high-level negotiations and develop long-term relationships with key agency partners and creators, defining the best terms and ensuring a pipeline of top-tier talent.

  • Provide senior-level consultation to campaign leads and cross-functional teams to ensure creator output is seamlessly integrated and strategically aligned with overarching artist narratives and campaign objectives.

  • Oversee the maintenance and strategic utilization of the trusted creator partner database to ensure best-in-class relationships and efficiency.

  • Manage agency agreements and deliverables ranging from best terms, creative notes, timelines, and reporting where applicable 

  • Provide artists with direction on short-form content and social tone

  • Collaborate with campaign leads to align creator output with narrative

  • Track content performance and refine outreach based on insights

  • Maintain a database of trusted creator partners

  • Performance Metrics:Quality, timeliness, and tone alignment of creator content

  • Engagement and impact of creator activations

  • Repeat participation and strength of creator relationships

  • Creative support and content effectiveness for artist socials

  • Design and customize organic and paid creator programs

  • Leverage resources, information, and insights to foresee creative trends and topics that connect artist and culture

  • Stay abreast of compliance, governance as well as innovation in the evolving creator economy

About you:

  • Deep and current expertise in global pop culture, emerging trends, and fan behavior, translating insights into proactive creator strategy

  • Demonstrated leadership in strategic problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality, high-impact results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Executive track record in developing and leading creator strategies, partnerships, and complex negotiations across major short-form video platforms (e.g., TikTok, Reels, Shorts).

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate content briefs, timelines, deliverables, and approvals, ensuring consistency with artist identity and campaign objectives.

  • Experience in offering advice on crafting brief-form content, creative direction, and social tone for artists and internal teams.

  • Expert command of performance analytics, with the ability to define key metrics, leverage deep insights, and implement data-driven strategic pivots to maximize creator effectiveness and ROI.

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in social media management, creator relations, or digital content production, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.

This position requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration, which is essential for talent development and strong working relationships. #LI-Onsite Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 Annually Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
