We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented retail account manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key operational, supply chain and release planning workflows supporting SME’s independent retail and wholesale distribution partners. This includes all aspects of release strategy and planning, product forecasting and inventory management. Strong systems/supply chain management skills and top-notch communication are a must; a proactive approach to all aspects of day-to-day work is essential.

What you'll do:
  • Inventory and Shipment Control: Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal allocation and stock availability. Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Order Processing: Oversee the order processing cycle, from order placement to delivery. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Account Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data and report activity to relevant stakeholders inside the business. Pro-actively identify trends and make recommendations to drive more overall efficiency.
  • Label Support: In partnership with SME frontline and catalog labels, collaborate and execute on best in class independent retail campaigns. Support end to end planning workflows including key account communications and timelines, inventory forecasts, allocation tracking and review as well as tentpole promotional activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the commercial, D2C, marketing, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with sales forecasts, promotional activities and overall campaign targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, order fulfillment, and account management. Implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with direct independent retail partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for partners to address day-to-day issues and/or unexpected roadblocks in a timely manner.
Who you are:
  • 5+ years of experience in music industry and retail account management
  • Highly proficient in utilizing supply chain management systems and tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable in a high paced, nuanced work environment
  • Established network of contacts across physical retail
  • Supports a customer first mind-set
  • Proficient in using account and industry level data and analytics to drive better results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
