Modifly is looking for a full-time Associate Director, Client Strategy to join our team with extensive experience and passion for driving strategic client relationships and delivering performance-driven marketing solutions. In this role, you will provide strategic oversight across key accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of the client's business goals and objectives. You will develop cohesive, omni-channel strategies that meet client needs, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and collaborate closely with internal teams to drive organic growth. Additionally, you'll be responsible for fostering team development and enhancing processes and ways of working within the client services function.

The ideal Associate Director, Client Strategy is a strategic thinker, a natural collaborator, and a problem-solver. This role requires independent decision-making, creative problem-solving skills, flexibility to pivot based on client needs, and a strong ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of omni-channel strategies based on client business goals, market insights, and audience understanding.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment on key business objectives and marketing prioritiesIdentify opportunities for organic growth across accounts, working closely with account leads to sell in additional services or scopes of work.
  • Support the team in new business efforts, including participating in pitches and strategic planning.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering on strategic objectives and highlighting wins while addressing challenges early.
  • Articulate Modifly’s approach to client strategy, emphasizing performance-driven solutions and our unique methodology.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client processes and improve ways of working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor team bandwidth and collaborate with leadership to assess resourcing needs, skill gaps, and candidate vetting for new hires.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members through delegation, coaching, and career development initiatives.
  • Other applicable or related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 7-9+ years of experience in client strategy or account management, ideally within a creative or marketing agency environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute client strategies that align with business goals and drive results.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to establish trust, manage expectations, and drive strategic conversations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client relationships with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to operate independently with high levels of accountability and adaptability.
  • Familiarity with omni-channel marketing strategies and the role of each channel within the customer journey.
  • A solid understanding of performance marketing metrics, data analysis, and how to leverage insights for growth.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment and embracing the flexibility needed to succeed.
