This role will translate brand strategy into practical, high-impact execution, with a strong focus on field activation, close partnership with sales leadership and field teams, and the continuous development and optimization of customer-facing assets. The Associate Director will connect customer and field insights to brand decisions, ensure teams are equipped to execute effectively, and adapt plans and materials based on market response and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end brand plan for TrenibotE, from launch strategy and readiness through post-launch optimization, lifecycle planning, and day-to-day brand management.
  • Translate brand strategy into clear execution priorities, field-facing plans, and practical guidance that enable consistent, high-quality customer engagement.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership, sales training, and field teams to prepare for launch, gather real-time market feedback, identify execution barriers, and refine tactics.
  • Maintain a strong in-field presence through field rides, regional and national sales meetings, customer engagements, and regular collaboration with field teams to understand customer needs and improve execution.
  • Provide ongoing direction, tools, and coaching resources to help field teams confidently communicate the brand value proposition and execute against brand priorities.
  • Lead the development, approval, deployment, and ongoing refresh of post-launch promotional assets, sales tools, campaigns, educational resources, and customer experiences for healthcare professionals and consumers.
  • Use field insights, customer feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, and performance data to optimize messaging, assets, channels, and tactical plans after launch.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Consumer, Digital, Analytics, and Operations to ensure launch readiness and disciplined post-launch execution.
  • Manage agency partners, budgets, timelines, and production workflows to deliver high-quality assets and programs with speed, accuracy, and operational excellence.
  • Establish and monitor launch and post-launch performance measures, communicate progress and risks, and recommend course corrections to achieve brand objectives.
  • Represent the brand in planning, forecasting, business reviews, and lifecycle discussions, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and field execution.
  • Build productive relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, advocacy partners, and external experts to support adoption and inform continued brand development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical aesthetics, or healthcare marketing, including meaningful product launch and post-launch brand management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a brand strategy while driving disciplined, high-quality tactical execution.
  • Strong experience partnering with sales leadership and field teams, translating strategy into actionable guidance, and incorporating field insights into brand decisions.
  • Proven success developing and optimizing promotional assets, sales tools, campaigns, and educational resources in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, agencies, and complex workstreams with clear priorities, accountability, and timely decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of facial aesthetics market dynamics, customer needs and journeys, competitive trends, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25–30%, including regular time in the field with sales teams and customers.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
