THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director who lives at the intersection of culture, storytelling, social, and creative innovation.

This role is for someone who understands how modern brands earn attention, not just through campaigns, but through content, community, creators, conversation, and cultural relevance. You’ll help shape breakthrough creative across social platforms, lead integrated campaigns, guide creative teams, and push brands to show up in ways that actually matter online.

You’re equal parts creative thinker, strategist, storyteller, designer, and builder. You know how to develop ideas that travel across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, emerging platforms, and real-world culture, as well as, understanding how to balance brand storytelling with performance and engagement.

The ideal candidate has strong creative instincts, excellent taste, a deep understanding of internet culture, and experience leading social-first campaigns from concept through execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and shape social-first always-on brand channels, including paid workstreams. 
  • Develop breakthrough ideas that drive cultural relevance, engagement, earned media, and audience growth.
  • Partner closely with strategy, production, design, creator/influencer, and account teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Provide creative oversight across content strategy, copy, design, video, and platform execution.
  • Guide brands on how to show up authentically across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, creator partnerships, and emerging platforms.
  • Pitch campaign ideas and creative opportunities to existing and prospective clients.
  • Mentor and inspire junior creatives while helping elevate the overall creative standard of the agency.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, creator behavior, internet culture, and evolving content formats.
  • Contribute to agency growth through thought leadership, internal creative development, and marketing initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8-10 years of experience in creative, social, and/or creative production within agencies and/or in-house creative teams. 
  • Proven experience developing and leading social-first campaigns for modern brands.
  • High taste level and strong understanding of modern brand aesthetics and internet culture.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, copywriting, visual language, production knowledge, and storytelling abilities. 
  • Deep understanding of today’s social and creator ecosystem across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and emerging platforms.
    • Deep understanding of how a brand TikTok account runs in an organic and paid content lifecycle, including knowledge of today’s social & creator systems.
  • Experience leading projects from creative concepts through production and launch.
  • Strong client communication skills with ability to present and problem solve in real time.
  • Leverage AI-native creative workflows and emerging creative technologies to accelerate ideation, content development, trend analysis, production efficiency, and rapid creative iteration across. 
  • Ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on in the work when needed.
  • Organized, collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Passionate mentor and team leader who helps bring out the best in others.
  • Positive energy, curiosity, and a genuine love for creativity and culture.

BASE SALARY RANGE

Our estimated range for this role is $130,000-140,000* 

*Don’t let this range drive your decision to apply. Actual compensation packages are based on the level of skill and experience each candidate brings to their role. Similarly, there might also be a more senior or junior position available, that would be a better fit with your expertise. For example, a person may apply for a Senior Creative Producer role, and we may assess that their skills are at the Creative Producer level. Each level has its own compensation range.
