Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you will be immersed in a diverse, encouraging environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. We are looking for an outstanding Creative Director to learn, understand, and bring to life our company story in physical and virtual event formats. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

What you'll be doing:

Collaborate with a team of Creative Directors, Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Copywriters, and Project Managers to conceptualize strategic, purposeful, and innovative work that elevates the visibility and craft of NVIDIA's story at every event. Create with your friends in executive-level Marketing, Product, Event, Web, and PR to develop the core event identity, booths, virtual experiences, websites, event marketing, and more. Work with teams from around the globe to make it all real from concept to final production.

What we need to see:

  • 10+ overall years of experience in event creative direction or experiential marketing with global brands.

  • 2+ years in leadership roles managing creative teams and delivering large-scale events (conferences, product launches, trade shows).

  • Stellar, real-world examples of how you conceptualize and execute innovative event experiences, using your expertise in art direction, hands-on design, and storytelling across 2D, 3D renderings, and video.

  • Uncompromising taste and attention to detail combined with the ability to streamline workflows and maintain efficiency while pushing creative boundaries.

  • A history of masterful storytelling across multiple mediums – including 2D/graphic design, motion graphics, video, photography, and 3D environmental design.

  • Exceptional communication skills – with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives. You can pitch ideas, lead creative conversations, and adapt quickly to live feedback.

  • Proven leadership in aligning creative vision with company culture and values, and demonstrating the unique ingredients that make us who we are.

  • Mastery of design fundamentals in art direction, typography, video, photography, and 3D, and an ability to apply brand systems to real-world projects.

  • A passion for working agile and in non-linear workflows, with a keen interest in exploring new technologies and trends from the inside out.

  • A BFA, BS, MFA in Graphic Design, or a similar degree, or equivalent experience in the creative field.

  • Please provide a PDF or online portfolio showcasing 5-10 design samples, which will be requested during the interview process.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • A naturally curious and passionate mind about technology, design, and the rapidly evolving AI landscape; you embrace Generative AI and have spent time with many of the tools.

  • Have you worked with the Developer Community? Show us how you can visualize ideas that communicate sophisticated technical subjects simply.

  • Do you have hands-on skills in illustration, infographics, 3D, motion graphics, video, storyboarding, and in-house experience? Can you shoot beautiful photos and build animatics? Share your creative passions with us!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
