ABOUT THE POSITION

The Associate Continuing Education Producer contributes to the continuing education content development process by using technology to design and support engaging live and on-demand online learning experiences. Webinar production skills are critical to this role and Zoom experience is a must. The Associate Continuing Education Producer will work collaboratively with external subject matter experts, the content division team, and the continuing education administration team to produce quality, relevant continuing education content for our members.

  • Full-time W2 position, work core U.S. business hours in your time zone

  • Must be located in the United States and be legally eligible to work for us
  • Travel is required for an all-company meeting and may be required occasionally for team or project meetings

RESPONSIBILITIES

Live Event Production:

  • Train external presenters on live event platforms (i.e. Zoom).
  • Provide real-time support for course moderators/presenters/participants of live webinars and virtual conferences, occasionally outside of normal working hours. 
  • Design engaging learning experiences that take full advantage of the latest webinar technology while leveraging the presenters’ technical level of comfort.
  • Review and format course materials submitted by external presenters to suit brand guidelines. 
  • Communicate any course technical issues to the Content and Operations team for swift resolution.

Learning Technology Product Management:

  • Collaborate with the Content Division to share course production best practices.
  • Continually pursue professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest developments in learning technologies. 
  • Participate in quality assurance testing of the continuing education platform as needed. 

Course Post-Production Skills:

  • Create accessible PDF handouts adherent to the latest accessibility guidelines.
  • Publish all course content to the learning management system.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in media production, communications, education, or related field; or 3 years of relevant experience in webinar production
  • Proficiency with Zoom Webinar and Zoom Events production
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with team members
  • A foundation of knowledge and 2 years of experience in online learning practices and technology to provide support and direction within the online classroom, ensuring learning efficiencies
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat skills
  • Proficiency with Mac, PC, and the Google products suite
  • Experience with video editing software (i.e., Adobe Premiere)
  • Experience with digital accessibility (i.e., WCAG 2.0 media guidelines) 
  • Sound technical skills, including the ability to demonstrate problem-solving expertise in the online classroom
  • Ability to meet productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment with high levels of attention to detail
