Job Summary & Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

  • Effectively lead account engagements and virtual resources in pursuit of margin rich sales with minimal guidance.
  • Acts in a consultative fashion and receives consistent positive feedback from internal and external engagements.
  • Consistently meet and exceed the gross profit and margin goals assigned by leadership.
  • Consistently forecast sales opportunities with accuracy. 
  • Managing complex customer relationships, leveraging HPTs to achieve assigned sales goals with support from leadership.
  • Developing relationships with Partner/OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Sales Resources, Technical Specialists and Business Units.
  • Demonstrating increasing levels of competence in identifying and engaging appropriate Partners as part of customer engagement and technical solution design.
  • Leverages senior team members and leadership to increase knowledge of best practice and success stories.

Qualifications: 

  • This is a remote office worker that must reside full time in the continental United States.
  • 1-2 Years Business Development, Sales Experience (or Inside Sales Experience) in a Relevant Industry and/or Sales Segment.
  • Strong cultural fit that exhibits a passion for learning and customer success.
  • Excellent skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to recommend and position technical solutions to solve customer business challenges.
  • Relevant experience in account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer's organization, and managing partner relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
  • Experience selling into Fortune 1000 companies preferred.
  • Travel is expected to be less than 50%.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What is an Associate Client Development Manager? 

The Associate Client Development Manger is a member of World Wide Technology’s (WWT) sales organization focused on growing brand loyalty, customer satisfaction and success through the sale of technical solutions that solve business problems for the customers in an assigned portfolio of accounts.  This is a quota-carrying business development position and is expected to meet and exceed the gross profit and margin goals assigned by leadership. 

 

The ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for technology, a demonstrated ability to proactively stay well educated on business and industry trends, and a self-motivated seller capable of leveraging the right resources at the right time for desired results.  Your ability to research customers, business, and technology to develop a plan for execution will be paramount to your success.

What will you be doing? 

The Associate Client Development Manager will sell broad technical services, solutions, and products to our customers. Day-to-day responsibilities will include building meaningful relationships within an assigned portfolio of accounts, leading customer sales meetings and presentations with minimal guidance, gathering sufficient information to bring customer requests to the WWT technical teams for scoping, and accurately forecasting sales opportunities each week. The Associate Client Development Manager will serve as a core member of a High-Performance Team (HPT) of Engineers and Architects, Sales Operations and other experts to truly provide expertise and value to every customer. The ability to listen, learn and understand broad technical solutions is required as you look to provide value to our customers on cutting-edge technologies.
