Team Overview  

Campus Recruiting at BlackRock is a dynamic function dedicated to identifying and hiring the next generation of leaders. Campus Recruiters play a crucial role in attracting top early-career talent from colleges and universities, fostering strong relationships with both internal and external clients, and acting as talent scouts for the firm. The team's mission is to source and deliver outstanding entry-level talent for our Client Businesses. 

The Role 
This person is expected to execute the Americas campus hiring strategy while building and maintaining strong internal relationships with key business stakeholders and senior leaders. The recruiter will be responsible for the end-to-end talent attraction and recruitment process for their designated portfolio of businesses. 

 
Specific responsibilities will include: 

  • Partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to align hiring plans with talent priorities, foster a close and collaborative relationship between recruiting and hiring teams 

  • Engaging in campus recruitment and industry events to build relationships, promote BlackRock’s brand, and connect with top early-career talent 

  • Customizing marketing and sourcing strategies across our portfolio of partners 

  • Proactively identifying, engaging, and cultivating relationships with a broad spectrum of candidate segments—including students from varied academic backgrounds, experiences, and interests—by leveraging targeted outreach strategies, digital platforms, and campus partnerships to build a robust talent pipeline 

  • Delivering a differentiated candidate experience from discovery to onboarding

  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment, being attentive to detailed business processes, and possessing strong communication skills 

  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with target schools, faculty, and student organizations to enhance BlackRock’s brand at universities 

Experience & Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • 3+ years of Campus recruiting experience 

  • Demonstrated problem-solver with strong attention to detail 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral 

  • Strong event planning skills, virtually and in-person 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly 

  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Ability to analyze and present data insights using advanced reporting techniques 

  • Proficient in leveraging Excel for data management, analysis, and visualization, and skilled in creating impactful presentations with PowerPoint 

  • Demonstrates comfort and fluency with AI-driven tools and processes, leveraging technology to enhance recruiting outcomes  

Travel Requirement:
This role will also have a travel expectation for external events occasionally. 

For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$90,000.00 - USD$120,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
