The Associate Brand Manager will support initiatives on specific product lines within the Califia Farms portfolio of products by conducting analyses based on category, consumer, and competitive insights. He/She will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to drive innovation and renovation projects from concept through post-commercialization business analysis. The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for leading the creation of packaging, sales assets, and marketing programs to support in-market performance.


This hybrid role works in the DTLA Arts District office Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business performance of key product lines; support Brand Manager and Brand Director to determine portfolio strategy, product line optimization and enhancements to drive performance and sales growth
  • Track market trends and the evolving competitive landscape and changing consumer needs
  • Analyze syndicated consumption data, panel data, internal sales data and primary research to diagnose business performance and identify new opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products
  • Create and manage detailed project timelines to ensure delivery of project milestones
  • Participate in the planning and execution of marketing research studies to drive insights
  • Work with R&D and Creative to develop packaging formats and designs
  • Execute marketing programs to drive awareness and trial
  • Coordinate the development of selling materials and marketing assets for specific product lines
  • Track and reconcile marketing spending vs. planned budget
Qualifications
  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years working in consumer-packaged goods (Food & Beverage preferred), marketing research, consulting, or advertising-related fields
  • Exhibits strong project management capabilities, with great attention-to-detail
  • Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities; comfort with pulling, managing, and driving insights from quantitative data
  • Shows passion and capability for creative development and creative problem solving
  • Ability to collaborate with others and engage/inspire cross-functional partners


The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year based on a full-time schedule.  Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting the actual salary. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible to enroll in Califia’s employee benefits program. You may also be eligible to participate in the company’s bonus program which may be subject to change.
