Summary of Position:                                                   

As an Associate Art Director at NVE, you'll help create experiences and campaigns for some of the world’s biggest, boldest and most beloved brands. This is an entry-level that involves developing and executing visual support for concepts, participating in brainstorming sessions, and supporting creative development and execution. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the best creative teams in the business, develop your design and concepting skills, and bring bold ideas to life.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute big, bold, breakthrough ideas for brand experiences and campaigns
  • Assist in developing visual expressions of creative ideas – this could include everything from mood boards to 2D comps
  • Be an active voice in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts
  • Work with other creatives including designers, content creators and more to ensure the vision is carried across the work and brand standards are maintained
  • Assist in the development of creative presentations and pitches for potential clients
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Receive and implement feedback from senior team members and clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting, storytelling and marketing
  • Contribute to the maintenance of brand guidelines and copy standards
  • Be a student of best-in-class ideas and campaigns that have brand experience at the center

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • You have a portfolio that shows your visual storytelling and conceptual potential (spec work is okay if it shows your thinking)

  • You are an ideas person with great taste, design savvy and style
  • You are confident, passionate and have a POV, but not an ego – you know that this work takes teamwork

Location: We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York City. The candidate for this role must be LA based.

Salary Estimation: [$70,000.00 - $80,000.00]

This is an Exempt full-time role. NVE intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. There are many factors to the presented salary range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
