The Role
As a Jr. Associate in AI Science, you will learn and participate in the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions to drive significant business impact, including cost optimization and revenue growth. Reporting to the Vice President of AI Science, you will assist in the development of predictive modeling use cases, AI governance, and the ethical and responsible use of AI across the organization. This role requires an understanding/coursework in AI/ML techniques, strong leadership skills, and the ability to learn complex technical concepts, as well as business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Modeling:
- Assist in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms.
- Conduct data analysis to extract insights and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members to refine models and improve their accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Management:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Maintain and update databases and data systems as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights.
- Communicate findings and insights to team members and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuous Learning and Development:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science and analytics.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience or coursework in data analysis, machine learning, or related areas.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
Position Location
This position is planned to be based in Santa Monica, CA. Relocation support may be provided for the right candidate.
Compensation
Th base pay will for this position is $120,000-130,000. A bonus will be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
