Job summary

As an Associate Account Manager, you will be responsible for coverage in the region, and driving renewals of the Corporate segment of DigiCert's customer base, delivering incremental revenue growth and bringing in net new business. The role involves building and fostering strong relationships with strategic DigiCert customers, in close collaboration with the in-region Account Manager. The primary focus is on increasing customer adoption, ensuring retention, and driving long-term success by addressing technology challenges.


What you will do

  • Building & Fostering Strong Relationships – Working closely with your in-region Account Manager, develop a deep relationship with strategic DigiCert customers, focusing on increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and long-term success solving technology challenges.
  • Active Listening – Enhance mutual understanding in communicating with others by expressing genuine interest in, and providing full attention to, the content and meaning of others’ messages, realizing opportunities to expand DigiCert’s reach.
  • Information Seeking – Driven by an underlying curiosity and desire to know more about things, people, or issues. This involves going beyond routine questions and includes digging or pressing for exact information; resolving discrepancies by asking a series of questions; or conducting less- focused environmental scanning for opportunities or miscellaneous information that may be used in the future.
  • Influence and Persuasion – Effective in persuading, convincing, influencing, or impressing others to get them to support a specific agenda, make a specific type of impression, or take a specific course of action.
  • Composure and Resiliency – Able to deal effectively with pressure, maintain focus and intensity, and remain optimistic and persistent, even under adversity. They have the ability and propensity to recover quickly from setbacks, rejections, and conflicts and to maintain self-control in the face of hostility or provocation.
  • Organizational Savvy – Gather and accurately assess information related to the organization’s formal and informal communication channels and power relationships.
  • Identify and close net new revenue opportunities on renewals.
  • Identify and complete discovery for new logos in assigned territory.
  • Develop proficiency and organizational agility utilizing internal systems such as Apptus, SFDC, Clari to support quoting and forecasting.
  • Act as a liaison for business desk, order management and the customer to ensure all agreements and documents are gathered and executed as needed.
  • Travel as needed to attend in person events, webinars and customer meetings.

What you will have

  • 2+ years of experience managing full sales cycle (inside or field sales) in the software space (SaaS Sales preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • SaaS Sales is advantageous
  • Proactive in adopting sales best practices and a leader in process adherence
  • Can demonstrate market and industry knowledge and recognizes changing market trends
  • Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities
  • Driven to invest time in self-education that can be applied in a professional context
  • Demonstrates the ability to link corporate strategic goals to customer facing solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work alongside multiple team members
  • Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Highly resourceful when need to overcome barriers and objections
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within customer/prospect’s organization
