We are seeking a contract-to-hire Associate Account Manager to build trusted partnerships with schools, primarily in the Southern California territory. This role will execute Swing’s site-level outreach playbook to drive adoption, reduce churn risk, and develop local school evangelists. The School Success Manager is a front-line relationship builder, ensuring principals and administrators feel supported and heard, while creating the foundation for Swing to become the preferred substitute teaching partner in the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Engagement & Adoption

  • Conduct in-person visits to Tier 1 schools to demo Swing, train staff, and address needs.
  • Run small-group webinars and roundtables to support Tier 2 and Tier 3 schools.
  • Onboard schools, answer questions, and remove barriers to adoption.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for school-level needs.

Feedback & Support

  • Launch pulse surveys and conduct check-ins to measure school satisfaction.
  • Monitor daily usage and proactively escalate issues.
  • Gather and share site-level insights with central teams.

Recognition & Evangelist Building

  • Develop recognition programs (thank-you notes, spotlights, certificates).
  • Identify early adopters and train them as internal champions.
  • Host small meetups (lunches, coffees) to share best practices.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track adoption KPIs (requests, fill rates, usage vs. competitors).
  • Provide weekly updates on progress, blockers, and site sentiment.
  • Send “report cards” to schools showing impact metrics (subs placed, cost savings).
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years in school partnerships, community engagement, or customer-facing roles (education or edtech preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills; able to build trust quickly with school leaders.
  • Hustle and persistence; comfortable with daily site visits and outreach.
  • Highly organized, able to manage 60+ schools and prioritize effectively.
  • Travel: 20-50% 

Success in Role 

  • 80% of schools in the territory to use Swing weekly within 6 months.
  • School leaders report feeling “supported and heard.”
  • Proactive identification of potential solutions to deepen usage and reduce competitor usage.
  • Early adopters actively championing Swing.
