At JFrog, we’re reinventing DevOps to help the world’s greatest companies innovate -- and we want you along for the ride. This is a special place with a unique combination of brilliance, spirit and just all-around great people. Here, if you’re willing to do more, your career can take off. And since software plays a central role in everyone’s lives, you’ll be part of an important mission. Thousands of customers, including the majority of the Fortune 100, trust JFrog to manage, accelerate, and secure their software delivery from code to production -- a concept we call “liquid software.” Wouldn't it be amazing if you could join us in our journey?

We are looking for a meticulous, proactive, and collaborative teammate to join our Renewals team.

As an Associate Account Manager, Revenue Retention in JFrog you will be a key driver of the “Liquid Software” vision by ensuring our customers' journey with JFrog remains seamless and uninterrupted. By mastering the renewals lifecycle, you enable the world's leading organizations to maintain their continuous delivery pipelines with confidence and speed. Your technical precision in account management ensures that the flow of innovation never stops, making you a vital architect of our customer retention and long-term success.

As an Associate Account Manager, Revenue Retention, in JFrog you will...
  • Scale the renewals process by architecting accurate quotes and opportunities across a targeted global portfolio.
  • Drive operational excellence by collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure 100% contract accuracy and compliance.
  • Maximize customer retention by proactively managing the end-to-end renewal lifecycle within your assigned territory, including tracking pending signatures through to close and understanding the downstream consequences of a lapsed renewal (especially on usage-based and cloud products) well enough to create urgency with the customer without being prompted.
  • Optimize Salesforce data integrity to provide real-time visibility into renewal health and territory performance, recognizing that clean, current data is the direct input to the AI-driven renewal risk scoring this team runs on.
  • Accelerate business growth by identifying expansion opportunities and providing actionable insights during the renewal cycle using AI-assisted signal review (Gong call analysis, renewal risk scoring) to surface expansion opportunities before they show up in a standard pipeline review.
  • Recognize strategic deal signals and streamline the customer experience by orchestrating high-touch communications and owning contract and legal-adjacent processes end-to-end.
  • Approach the renewal motion as something actively evolving with AI-assisted tooling, ready to take on higher-complexity, higher-touch accounts as routine tiers become more automated.
To be an Associate Account Manager, Revenue Retention in JFrog you need...
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in account management, renewals, or sales operations within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume portfolios and meeting tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, including working deal math independently: discount deltas, co-term pricing across tiers, and monthly-vs-annual savings comparisons.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex internal processes and cross-functional dependencies, including contract and legal workflow literacy (JSA, DPA, NDA, compliance routing).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both internal stakeholders and external customer liaisons.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technical environment where adaptability and a “Froggy” spirit are essential, with working depth on the JFrog platform itself (Xray, edge nodes, tiering) enough to handle a technical objection without a one-line script.
  • AI fluency for non-technical, customer-facing work: using AI to accelerate research and drafting, then verifying the output before treating it as finished.
WHAT JFROG CAN OFFER…
  • At JFrog, base salary is only one component of our compensation package.
  • This position has a base salary range between $90,000 to $115,000.  Base salary will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
  • Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
  • This position also includes an equity package of restricted stock units (RSU).  In addition, JFrog employees are eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • JFrog provides employees comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness and much more!
  • JFrog embraces hybrid work: 3 days in office / 2 days remote.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
