Role Snapshot  
The Associate Account Executive supports new business growth by assisting with broker relationships, pipeline development, and quoting processes across the commercial lines of business. This role partners with Account Executives to ensure brokers are equipped with tools and resources to ensure successful group implementations for WPS commercial lines of business. The Associate Account Executive serves as a liaison for broker partners and supports relationship management. 

Salary Range  
65,000-90,000 base salary 
This position is also eligible for our sales bonus program. 

 
Work Location 
We are open to remote work in the following approved states: 
Wisconsin
Travel in this role is about 20-40% and would be focused on Southern Wisconsin.

  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned brokers through outreach and thought partnership. 
  • Conduct plan presentations and benefit overviews for brokers and small employer groups. 
  • Serve as point of contact for broker inquiries regarding new sales opportunities.  
  • Prepare RFP responses, quoting, and maintain opportunity tracking. 
  • Maintain accurate broker and sales activity records in CRM and assist in pipeline forecasting and reporting. 
  • Prepare for and participate in finalist meetings, sales campaigns, broker education sessions, and regional events. 
  • Ensure seamless delivery of proposals, onboarding materials, and client solutions. 
  • Monitor broker activity trends including enrollment volume and conversion rates. 
  • Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.  

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience. 
  • Valid Wisconsin Accident & Health producer license or obtained within 60 days of hire. 
  • Three (3) or more years in a sales support role; insurance industry experience required. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong ability to work both independently and part of a team. 
  • Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to travel within the state of Wisconsin – up to 40%. 
  • Valid driver’s license with no moving violations or accidents in last three years.
