LOCATION:  West Coast, Ideally, Los Angeles but not a must  

REPORTS TO:  EVP, Partnerships

About the Gaming Partnerships Team:
Allied Global Marketing’s Gaming Partnerships team has been operating at the intersection of gaming, brands, and culture for over 12 years, managing strategic partnerships on behalf of 30+ game publishers across PC, console, and mobile.

The team has executed award-winning programs with some of the world’s most recognizable consumer brands, including McDonald’s, Red Bull, Butterfinger and DoorDash, among many others. Our work spans full-funnel partnerships—from creative ideation and deal structuring to execution, measurement, and optimization within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.


Summary of Position & Ideal Candidate:  We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and creative individual who is eager to be challenged and develop a career in marketing—specifically strategic partnerships within the gaming industry. Our day-to-day work entails building and maintaining relationships with brands, platforms, and gaming-adjacent partners on behalf of our publisher clients to create mutually beneficial partnerships. Executing impactful, detail-oriented campaigns for our clients is a daily standard. The Assistant will primarily support senior leadership in the development and execution of partnership initiatives, working closely with game publishers, platforms, and consumer brands in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that requires strong prioritization and multitasking skills.


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Administrative 
    • Support the Gaming Partnerships Team with administrative needs in a fast-paced environment, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, circulation of agendas, note taking, and servicing NDAs
    • Update and maintain client and partner-facing materials e.g., deal memos, pitch lists, status reports, partnership trackers and marketing calendars, ensuring accuracy across multiple workstreams
    • Support account lead(s) and provide guidance and oversight to interns who may support account 
    • Assist with general office duties and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Relationship Management & Development:
    • Organization and maintenance of division’s and client’s contact database 
    • Develop and maintain relationships with gaming, entertainment, and consumer brand promotional contacts, including agencies, publishers, and platform partners
    • Develop strong client relationships and always meet client deadlines and exceed expectations
  • Program Development & Execution 
    • Research potential partners and gaming, esports, streaming, and interactive entertainment industry trends and participate in creative brainstorms to identify new partnership opportunities
    • Prepare research, recaps and reports for clients under multiple deadlines 
    • Build engaging pitches (presentations, concepts, etc.), demonstrating creative thinking 
    • Assist with and/or manage partnership executions, including drafting and reviewing deal memos and legal contracts, coordinating asset trafficking, facilitating creative reviews, and tracking performance of gaming partnership programs
  • Overall
    • Help foster a high performing culture that supports the goals of the Gaming Partnerships Team and the company overall
    • Have a presence on the team, offer solutions to challenges based on current or past experiences
    • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the video games industry and enthusiasm for working within gaming culture, trends, and communities

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (marketing, communications, or public relations preferred)
  • Minimum 1-year related experience (strong internship experience considered)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Exceptionally organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel in-person, via email and videoconference
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of clients and projects at the same time with a high degree of accuracy 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Keynote 
  • Positive attitude, Ambitious, resourceful, focused and goal oriented
  • Creative thinker and problem solver, team player, ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Stellar written and verbal communications skills

What we offer:

  • This position will be eligible to participate in the standard benefits offered to full-time employees of Allied Global Marketing (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability and life insurance as well as 401k and Flex PTO). We also offer 10 company paid holidays. 
  • Salary: $40,000-$50,000
