JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This role is responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and supporting development teams in delivering scalable and secure applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, and monitoring systems. The role is not limited but also to managed a group of skill Dev Ops and Cloud ops team. To also managed the budget and spending on the FinOps area for AWS Cloud Environment.

Cloud Strategy & Architecture

  • Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy systems.
  • Define cloud governance, cost optimization strategies, and performance benchmarks.

DevOps Leadership

  • Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for multiple environments.
  • Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee cloud operations including monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
  • Implement observability frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem processes for major incidents.

Security & Compliance

  • Collaborate with InfoSec to enforce cloud security policies, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR).
  • Conduct regular audits and implement automated security checks in pipelines.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Cloud Operations and DevOps, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS).
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Proven track record in leading cloud infrastructure projects and DevOps transformations.

Training and/or certification in relevant area such as:

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps practices.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
