The historic hotel showcases majestic Venetian architecture dating back to the 14th century. Guests can also enjoy spectacular views of Venice’s landmarks from the rooftop Restaurant Terrazza Danieli.

About the Role

The Assistant Manager of Technology Innovation & Data supports the Director of Technology Innovation & Data in ensuring the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of all hotel technology systems. This role is critical to maintaining uninterrupted service across the entire property, safeguarding technology performance, and ensuring that both colleagues and guests receive timely, high‑quality technical assistance.

As a key partner to operational and administrative departments, you will help uphold Four Seasons’ technology standards, support the deployment of new systems, reinforce network and data integrity, and contribute to an environment where innovation, security, and efficiency elevate both the guest experience and internal operations.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and smooth operation of critical hotel systems, including PMS, POS, HSIA, PABX, Call Accounting, and related platforms.
  • Provide day‑to‑day systems administration support, including user account setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation maintenance.
  • Assist in managing server infrastructure, network performance, OS upgrades, system backups, and recovery procedures.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to Four Seasons IT Core Standards and technology guidelines.
  • Support desktop systems, operating systems, productivity software, system patches, and security tools.
  • Deliver high‑quality technical support to internal users and guests, including meeting rooms, conference technologies, and event support.
  • Assist in managing system security measures, including firewall management, VPN connectivity, antivirus tools, and network protection protocols.
  • Support the coordination and rollout of new technology initiatives, upgrades, and corporate IT projects.
  • Assist with vendor relations, third‑party support, and management of maintenance contracts.
  • Provide 24/7 on‑call support for mission‑critical systems on a rotating basis.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Rooms, F&B, Spa, and other departments to ensure technology solutions align with business needs.
  • Maintain strong, professional working relationships with department leaders, Corporate IT, and Regional IT teams.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of IT or Director of Finance.

What You Bring

  • College education in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3+ years of IT experience in a hotel, resort, or similarly complex hospitality environment.
  • Strong networking background; MCSE certification or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience supporting complex networks, server environments, and enterprise-level applications.
  • Strong knowledge of systems security, backup strategies, recovery processes, and incident response.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support users across all levels of the organization.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Ability to work safely, prudently, and in a well‑organized manner.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including after‑hours system support when necessary.

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time position based at Hotel Danieli, Venice
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
