We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Spa to join our growing Skincare Studio team in Los Angeles. This individual will play a key role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly, supporting both the Studio Manager and the broader team in delivering a best-in-class client experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about spa operations, people leadership, sustainability, and the beauty industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Skincare Studio Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring that all service standards and procedures are consistently delivered at the highest level.
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll preparation, supply ordering, and inventory management.
- Help onboard, train, and support new team members across all positions.
- Assist with front desk operations: booking client appointments, checking in guests, and providing product knowledge and service recommendations.
- Proactively resolve guest concerns or issues with professionalism and a client-first approach.
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events to drive growth and enhance client engagement.
- Support with tracking performance metrics, reviewing financial reports, and providing operational updates to leadership.
- Assist in developing staffing models and sales incentive programs to ensure optimal team performance and morale.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment aligned with OSEA’s brand values.

- 2-4 years of experience in a spa, beauty, or hospitality environment; prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with spa scheduling software (e.g. Mangomint) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a spa team dynamic.
- 40 hours per week, on-site at the OSEA Skincare Studio in Los Angeles.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed to support Skincare Studio operations.
- Ability to work in an environment with fragranced products, essential oils, and spa-related aromas.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the studio for extended periods.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer or desk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Tolerance for occasional exposure to cleaning products, spa sanitization agents, and routine spa equipment.

Base Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000 per year (Actual compensation depends on factors like experience, skill level, and location).
