Job Summary

RPA is seeking an Assistant Digital Media Planner to join the digital media strategy team to work across various verticals on several accounts including Southern California Edison, Pocky, Arco, and Marathon. As an Assistant Media Planner, you will assist the digital team on media planning, recurring client deliverables, reporting, and coordinating across inter-departmental and agency teams. Duties include pulling research, creating IOs, pulling & analyzing reporting, assisting with the creation of campaign specs, and processing monthly billing. You should be a strategic thinker who is independent and resourceful yet enjoys working collaboratively across teams. You should also be a creative problem solver who is passionate about digital media/marketing. 

This is an entry level role and does not require a college degree.

This position is classified as hybrid, with an expectation of in-office presence at our Santa Monica, HQ two (2) days per week. The specific in-office days may be determined in coordination with your manager and are subject to change based on business needs.

What You’ll Be Working On 

  • Assists in day-to-day communication with internal and external teams.
  • Work alongside Digital Media Planner on campaign reconciliation and billing.
  • Compile specs and trafficking documents and ensure all materials are received from creative agency.
  • Participate in team brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set development 
  • Collaborate with Planners and Supervisor for digital plan development
  • Assist with creation of IOs within internal systems/tools and responsible for accuracy of plan details and confirmation of delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams to aggregate data and ensure accuracy, validating data from internal and external teams
  • Monitor campaign pacing to ensure purchases match plans/client goals 

How You’ll Excel In Your Role 

  • Basic math skills - understanding of media math/definitions would be beneficial 
  • Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to learn various types of technology/software systems
  • Organized work process and detail-oriented 
  • Respectful, team player
  • Open and clear verbal/written communication
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines 
  • Enthusiasm and drive to learn and keep up with the latest industry trends 

Pay and Compensation

This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation. 

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 an hour, which is the equivalent to $36,400 gross pay a year.

Pay is not negotiable.
