Job Summary

The Assistant Media Planner is responsible for supporting the Strategy team across client and cross-agency work. This role helps support planning decisions through the use of tools, research, and data, while assisting with recurring deliverables, ad hoc projects, plan activity, client-facing presentations, and cross-team collaboration. This is an entry-level role, but relevant internships, prior agency experience in media or full-service advertising, and/or academic coursework related to marketing or media are a plus.

What You’ll Be Working On 


  • Own and maintain recurring documents, including monthly budgets and flowcharts.
  • Track team deadlines and maintain internal and client-facing status documents.
  • Pull research and data to support the planning process, using tools such as MRI-Simmons, NMI, and ComScore.
  • Manage and review competitive data pulls and insight analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis.
  • Assist with strategic recommendations and client-facing presentations under Supervisor guidance.
  • Support campaign optimization recommendations and performance troubleshooting under Supervisor guidance.
  • Track day-to-day cross-team communications to help ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Reconcile fee invoices and work with investment teams to ensure billing is completed accurately.
  • Pull campaign pacing and metrics to ensure investments are running properly, including through platforms such as CM360 and Innovid.
  • Work with investment teams to manage timelines, keep plans up to date and accurate, and support mid-flight and post-delivery reporting.
  • Assist with digital direct campaign plan creation and set up campaigns across billing and tracking platforms, including IAS, CM360, and Prisma.
  • Evaluate publisher proposals and assess opportunities against campaign objectives and performance goals.
  • Coordinate and own scheduling for publisher and external vendor meetings while maintaining professional partner relationships on behalf of the agency.
  • Support additional ad hoc requests and projects as needed.

  • You have foundational math skills, including calculating percentages and indices.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with media planning, advertising, MediaOcean/Prisma, Vivvix/Pathmatics, eTelmar, MRI-Simmons, NMI, ComScore, eMarketer, Innovid, IAS, and CM360 is a plus.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00, with an annualized equivalent of $36,400.00. The pay for this role is non-negotiable.

Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
