FOX 5 San Diego/KUSI, a member of Nexstar Media Group is a thriving multi-screen media company in America's Finest City. We are looking for a rising star to join our sales support team.  This position needs someone who loves working in a creative environment with many different salespeople managing multiple campaigns with a variety of television & digital solutions. The right candidate will be energetic with an eye for detail and a team player. A typical day includes submitting new television & digital orders, checking status of existing orders, revising orders, and helping our Account Executives with proposal building and recap reports. Other responsibilities include working with our Integrated Digital Specialist on our Digital and Social campaigns.  Experience with linear, digital, and social media marketing is a big plus!

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Looking for someone with problem solving skills, a great attitude, an ability to get along with all types of personalities, strong focus, drive to learn on the job and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing television & digital environment.
  • Must be passionate for the television & digital space and highly engaged with emerging television, digital and social platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills to develop and prioritize multiple projects at various stages of development.
  • Collaborate with News and Creative Services team members, Sales Management, Account Executives, and clients to support and enhance television & digital marketing efforts.
  • Able to manage and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic software system a plus.
  • Familiarity with Facebook Business Manager and experience with Sponsored Posts a plus.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint a plus.
  • Compensation - $25-$30/hr commensurate with experience and skill level

Education Requirements & Certifications

4-Year College Degree and any Television & Digital Marketing background preferred
