 This role:

  • Serves as the primary legal advisor on compliance matters related to government business, with a focus on supporting Jabil’s role as a subcontractor to prime contractors and enabling direct federal contracting and grant activities.

  • Provides guidance on flow-down requirements, FAR/DFARS clauses, supplier due diligence, and procurement with integrity rules.

  • Supports business teams in evaluating solicitations preparing proposals, and managing award terms for both contracts and grants, including compliance with grant conditions and post award obligations.

  • Oversees legal aspects of export controls and security requirements involving Jabil’s defense and aerospace business, including coordination with internal security functions.

  • Leads the development, implementing and auditing of internal controls, supplier management protocols, and training programs to ensure end-to-end compliance across the government business lifecycle.

  • Manages development and closure of corrective actions and process improvement tasks.

  • Facilitates Global Trade compliance reviews across the company’s international subsidiaries and joint ventures.

  • Monitors and addresses proposed and implemented changes in law that will impact business operations and/or compliance programs.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-12 years of legal experience (preferably in combination at a major law firm and in-house).

  • Graduate of an ABA or foreign equivalent law school, member of a bar in good standing, eligible to practice law in Florida.

  • Extensive experience drafting and reviewing U.S. government commercial agreements and interpreting U.S. Export Controls.

  • Supporting sales, operations, and development organizations on a wide variety of commercial matters.
