Job Description

The Ascent Graduate Management Programme offers fresh graduates the unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders and seasoned professionals, connect with alumni and industry partners worldwide, and gain practical skills through real-world projects working at one of Minor Hotels properties.

As a participant, your placement will last for 18 months. The first 6 months you will be immersed in the hotel operations with six different departments. The next 6 months, you will deep dive into two selected departments out of the six covered initially. The last 6 months marks the specialisation phase, where you focus on one preferred department selected from the two completed in Phase II.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Management or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and with an aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to build relationship, connection, and trust.
  • Committed to achieving operational excellence.
  • Open mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow and take on responsibility.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of hospitality industry.
