Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency, is seeking an Art Director Intern.
Where you’ll be working: Knoxville, TN
What to expect as a Creative Art Intern at Tombras:
Commitment to a 10 week, paid internship, $18 an hour starting on 6/3/25 and ending on 8/8/25 with a maximum of 25 hours per week.
What you'll be doing:
- Work with the Creative team to contribute to the conceptual and visual development of various projects
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Copywriters and Designers to execute design direction
- Create and edit digital assets for both internal presentations and client deliverables
- Research trends and assist in creating mood boards, sketches and presentation decks
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned
What you bring:
- Candidates should have prior work or life experience in a relevant field, be currently enrolled as a Senior in a Bachelor’s program, or a recent graduate with a major in Media, Marketing, Advertising, Portfolio School or similar field (a degree is not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- An engaging portfolio that showcases strong design skills
- Proficiency in Mac OSX, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Illustration experience is a plus
- You work well as a team player in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment
- You possess excellent visual and verbal communication skills
