Job Description

The Art Director, Fox Racing is responsible for shaping the overall visual direction of advertising campaigns and brand assets. This role blends strong design expertise with leadership, fostering a high-performing creative team and seamless cross-functional collaboration. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for innovation, the Art Director generates bold ideas and elevates the brand through compelling visual storytelling. Success in this role means delivering exceptional creative work with minimal oversight while maintaining brand consistency and impact.

This position reports to the Creative Director and is expected to work from the Revelyst Adventure Sport Group Irvine Office at least 3 days a week.   

As the Art Director you will have an opportunity to:

  • Oversee all design projects, ensuring brand consistency across all creative touchpoints and accuracy to marketing briefs

  • Conceptualize, collaborate, iterate, and deliver creative solutions that communicate brand objectives

  • Lead design direction for seasonal campaigns, print catalogs, advertising, trade materials, consumer collateral, and more

  • Partner with the Creative Director and Marketing Manager on all photo and video content for the brand

  • Collaborate closely with merchandisers, product managers, and product designers to fully understand product details and seasonal goals

  • Partner with the Creative Director and Go-to-Market Creative Operations Manager to keep projects on schedule and ensure timely completion

  • Mentor and inspire the creative team, encouraging innovative thinking and elevating the overall quality of work

  • Collaborate with copywriters to ensure tone and messaging align with visual direction

  • Stay current on contemporary and emerging design trends relevant to the brand

You have:

  • 5–7 years of experience in a senior design or art direction role, ideally within an agency or in-house creative team

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools

  • Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to lead visual storytelling across multiple platforms

  • Experience directing photoshoots, video content, and other multimedia assets

  • Excellent design sensibility with a meticulous eye for detail and craft

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with experience managing concurrent projects

  • Knowledge of or interest in the action sports, moto, or cycling industries is a plus

  • Familiarity with creative trends and best practices across print, digital, and retail environments

  • Relentless drive to create, iterate, and elevate creative output

  • Confident team leader and collaborator with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to provide clear direction and feedback to junior and mid-level designers

  • Creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Passionate about delivering work that is both strategic and visually compelling

  • Occasional travel may be required for campaign shoots or seasonal research trips

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
