About Democratic National Committee

We’re hiring! Are you fired up to elect Democrats up and down the ticket?

Position Summary:

In 2026, the DNC is launching a first-of-its-kind national partisan voter registration program to close registration gaps among key constituencies and expand the electorate ahead of upcoming elections. The DNC’s flagship VR initiative is a national youth fellowship program, When We Count, to train the next generation of organizers to register voters on-the-ground in their communities.

This program is launching in Arizona and Nevada. The Nevada VR Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and growth of the fellowship program across the state. This position will be based in Nevada and will oversee all day-to-day operations and staff, and will report to the DNC’s Voter Registration Program Director & National Organizing Director in HQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement a data-driven, persuasion-forward voter registration fellowship program across the state of Nevada.
  • Lead on-the-ground recruitment efforts to hire and train diverse cohorts of fellows across the state, creating a pipeline of local talent for the Party in 2026 and beyond.
  • Motivate and hold staff and fellows accountable to ambitious voter registration goals, using clear metrics, systems, and accountability structures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely collection, tracking, and submission of voter registration forms collected by the program in compliance with all Nevada election and voter registration laws.
  • Provide consistent coaching, performance feedback, and professional development for all program staff and fellows.
  • Develop training materials for and surface best practices from staff and fellows to improve the program.
  • Build strong relationships with the State Party, Coordinated Campaign, local organizations, and community partners to facilitate coordination and minimize duplicative efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 cycles of campaign experience, including 1-2 cycles of managing full-time staff on campaign or political organization.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing organizing teams.
  • Deep familiarity with youth organizing and voter registration tactics and programs.
  • Strong data literacy: ability to quickly analyze reports and metrics and provide actionable recommendations for program and staff improvement.
  • A fierce commitment to winning elections and innovating in organizing.
  • Dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of the voter registration program.
  • Familiarity with Nevada politics is a plus.

Travel: The Nevada Voter Registration Program Manager position will require travel within the state of Arizona.

Salary: The starting salary for the Nevada Voter Registration Program Manager position is $75,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends. This is a cycle-based position with an end date of November 15, 2026.

Due to federal campaign finance rules, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible for this role. See 52 U.S.C. 30121; 11 C.F.R. 110.20(i).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
