Leidos is seeking a degreed Architect to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team to provide architectural support for FAA Terminal facilities in the Eastern Service Area.

**Building enclosure experience is required**

Up to 50% travel

Architect Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review construction documents including architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals relative to the building enclosure for FAA Terminal facilities (Air Traffic Control Tower, Terminal Radar Approach Control facilities, etc.).
  • Perform remedial roof and envelope design for existing facilities.
  • Conduct system surveys and oversee field tests.
  • Engage in Building Enclosure Commissioning and prepare technical reports.
  • Generate layouts, manage project timelines, and coordinate with teams.
  • Produce AutoCAD drawings, manage project risks, and monitor progress.

Architect Basic Qualifications:

  • Civil Engineering or Architecture degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in building enclosures and proficient in computer modeling.
  • Knowledge of BIM and relevant building codes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Suitability.

Architect Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior relevant FAA experience.
  • Highrise experience.

Training: Recommendations for project management and safety training may be provided.

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
